Estefanía Paula Balduzzi works as an attorney in our Corporate Law Department. Her professional practice focuses on advising local and foreign clients on business and corporate law issues in Argentina, including the incorporation of companies and branches, advice on corporate reorganizations, acquisition of stock, mergers, spin-offs, and drafting and negotiation of corporate documents.
Marina Basavilbaso develops a general practice, focused on advising technological companies. She specializes in the negotiation and drafting of contracts, privacy issues, telecommunications infrastructure, responsibility of the Internet intermediary, ecommerce, digital signature, software and digital content licences, antitrust and consumer protection, among others. In addition, as a member of our Aeronautical Law team she advises national and international airlines on contractual, regulatory and litigious matters.
Matías Corte is a member of our Tax team and is specialized in tax litigation. He provides legal advice on tax matters for national and international clients, being in charge of the definition and implementation of the most appropriate legal and procedural strategy in a claim or tax litigation. Matias represents clients before all tax agencies, the Federal and Provincial Tax Courts and the federal and provincial courts. Matías frequently litigates before the Federal Supreme Court of Justice, having obtained important decisions in favor of PAGBAM clients.
Facundo Fernández Santos is a member of our Tax Law team. His professional practice is focused on advising major national and international companies, as well as individuals, both resident in Argentina and abroad, on tax matters. He provides tax advice in financial transactions (both local and international), transfer pricing, mergers and acquisitions, transfers of shares, technology transfer agreements, among others. Mr. Fernandez Santos practice includes advice on tax planning, national and international.
Lucila Guerrero works on general Commercial Law, and specializes on aeronautical and insurance matters. In aeronautical matters, she advises local and international airlines, in regulatory and contractual matters, designs and implements legal defenses against passenger claims or administrative claims from different State agencies. Regarding her insurance practice, Lucila provides advice to insurance companies, brokers and agents in the commercial and regulatory aspects of their insurance business. Additionally, she advises other industries in due diligence processes in matters of insurance and claims for insured events.
Germán Martín Quirán specializes in Tax and Customs law. His expertise on Customs Law includes challenging export and import duties assessments, customs value matters on import and exports operations, anti-dumping investigations, customs infringements and customs criminal defenses, tax reimbursements and tax benefit claims across the range of state courts. He has also thorough experience providing legal advice on customs matters, including free trade zones, international trade matters, due-diligence processes and strategic planning regarding customs law. His Tax Law practice also includes the defense of clients, both businesses and individuals, regarding Municipal, Provincial and Federal tax assessments and fines, practicing in all stages of the legal process: administrative and judicial local stages as well as National Tax Court and Federal Courts, and the National Supreme Court of Justice. His experience also includes providing legal advice regarding local and federal tax matters, both for businesses and individuals.
