Advise to Harvard Management Company on the sale of Las Misiones S.A., Empresas Verdes Argentina S.A. and Estancia Celina S.A.

Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen advised Harvard Management Company (Harvard University’s investment fund) on the sale of Las Misiones S.A., Empresas Verdes Argentina S.A. y Estancia Celina S.A. to Proener S.A.U. (a company controlled by Central Puerto, the largest producer of electricity nationwide).

The sale involves more than 88,000 hectares in Corrientes, dedicated to forestry activities.

Due to the previous acquisition of Masisa’s forestry assets in Argentina back in December 2022, Central Puerto becomes the main Argentinean company in the forestry sector with more than 160,000 hectares.
