PAGBAM advises Apollo Global Management Inc. on the acquisition of International Game Technology and Everi Holdings

Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen advised, on issues in Argentina, the US investment fund Apollo Global Management Inc. in the process of acquiring the shares of International Game Technology and Everi Holdings.

Following the closing of the transaction, International Game Technology (through its IGT Gaming business) and Everi Holdings will be privately held companies that will be part of a combined company. Following the closing of the sale of the IGT Gaming business to Apollo Global Management Inc, IGT will change its name and stock symbol, focusing on the lottery business.

While Sidley Austin LLP, White & Case LLP and Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz acted as local counsels to IGT; Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP was the legal counsel to Everi and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP together with Perez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen acted as legal counsels to Apollo Global Management Inc.

PAGBAM served as argentine counsel to Apollo Global Management Inc. with a team led by partners P. Eugenio Aramburu and Geraldine Moffat, and associate Nicolás del Campo Wilson.
