Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arnsten (PAGBAM) appoints four new Special Counsels: Eugenio Bauer, from the Litigation Department; Tomás Fernández Madero, from Banking & Finance and M&A; David A. Hinojosa, from Litigation; and M. Clara Rodríguez Llanos from Antitrust/ Competition, and Consumer Law. The Firm thereby strengthens its commitment to continue expanding and recognizing the merit and effort of its outstanding associates.
Eugenio Bauer: He has developed a litigation practice focused on contractual breaches, corporate conflicts, bankruptcy, class actions and arbitration. In 2015 he completed a Master's Degree in Economic Business Law at Universidad Católica Argentina.
Tomás Fernández Madero: His primary focus is on Project Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Banking & Finance, and Foreign Exchange Regulations. He took part in numerous financing transactions, either corporate financing or project finances, counseling both financial entities and corporations. In addition, he is counsel of several corporations and financial institutions in debt restructuring, recapitalization processes, mergers, acquisitions, and public offering matters. He completed the Master Degree in Economic Business Law at the Austral University, in 2016.
David A. Hinojosa: He joined PAGBAM as an associate lawyer in the Litigation, Bankruptcy and Arbitration area. Since then he has developed a litigious practice focused on contractual breaches, corporate conflicts, bankruptcy, class actions and arbitration, with clients in a wide range of industries including banking, automotive, retail, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, transports and advertising. In 2016 he completed his Master Degree in Economic Business Law at the Argentine Catholic University.
M. Clara Rodríguez Llanos: She specializes in Competition matters, advising domestic and international clients in complex and important economic concentrations. Also, she advises clients in connection with Antitrust proceedings or investigations initiated by the local competent antitrust authorities. Moreover,
she focuses her practice in Fair Trade and Consumer Protection matters, helping clients to comply with said regimes in an preemptive, effective and proactive way. In addition, she represents clients on administrative and judicial proceedings. She also advises in the negotiation and drafting of contracts,
privacy issues, e-commerce, among others. During 2018 and 2019, she studied at ESADE Business & Law School (Barcelona, Spain) and obtained a Master’s degree in International Business Law, graduating with honors in Competition and Global Markets, and a Diploma in Management & Cross-Skills for Legal Professionals.
