Juan Ignacio focuses his practice on Banking & Finance Law, Foreign Exchange Law, and Commercial Law.
In the course of his work, Juan Ignacio advises both local and international clients across various economic sectors, including financial services, energy, petrochemicals, infrastructure, transportation, construction and engineering, telecommunications, natural resources, real estate, agribusiness, consumer goods, and technology.
In this capacity, Juan Ignacio has assisted clients on matters involving financial and foreign exchange regulations, M&A transactions, due diligence processes, restructurings, contract drafting (including SPAs, ASPAs, JOAs, joint ventures, and others), as well as the preparation of legal reports.
Education
Juan Ignacio Dighero graduated with a Law degree from the University of Buenos Aires in June 2021, achieving an overall GPA of 9.49 (nine point forty-nine). In December of the same year, Juan Ignacio received a "Distinction for Excellence" from the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires in recognition of his academic performance.
In November 2021, Juan Ignacio completed a Diploma in Blockchain & Cryptocurrencies at the University of CEMA. Additionally, in December 2023, he completed the coursework for his Master’s in Business Law at the University of San Andrés (thesis pending submission), with an overall GPA of 9.21 (nine point twenty-one).
Academic & Professional Experience
Juan Ignacio joined Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen in November 2018 as a paralegal, a position he held until his graduation in 2021, when he was incorporated as an associate.
Juan Ignacio maintains an interdepartmental practice spanning Banking & Finance Law, Foreign Exchange Law, and Commercial Law.
Prior to joining the Firm, between 2016 and 2018, Juan Ignacio worked as a legal assistant at the Craviotto & Guthmann Notary Office.
In 2024, Juan Ignacio was invited to serve as a lecturer in the postgraduate course on International Financial Transactions at the University of Buenos Aires, where he taught classes on syndicated loans and project finance.
