Julio F. Lago entered PAGBAM in 2006 and became a partner in 2016, working in the Intellectual Property Department.

Education

Julio Lago studied Law at Universidad de Buenos Aires, and obtained a Masters Degree in Intellectual Property in 2001 from the same university. He also attended an Instruction Programe for Lawyers at Harvard University in 2000.

Julio Lago represents clients in litigation and provides advice on trademarks, patents, copyrights, anti-piracy campaigns, Internet and topics

He has been invited as a speaker at various conferences in areas such as copyright and software, ambush marketing, precautionary measures on trademark issues and regulation of distinctive signs, copyright infringement on the Internet and anti-piracy campaigns. He teaches a course at the Argentine Catholic University (UCA) on Intellectual Property.

Admissions & Affiliations

He has been admitted to litigate before the courts of Buenos Aires as well as those of the province of Buenos Aires. He is a member of INTA.
