Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen (“PAGBAM”) advised the International Finance Corporation and the IFC African, Latin American and Caribbean Fund, LP (jointly, the “Sellers”) in the sale of 30.61% of the share capital of Medanito S.A. (the “Company”) to Exmed S.A. and Exmed Inversiones S.A. (collectively, the "Buyers"). The Company has, among its main activities, the exploration and exploitation of oil and natural gas with participation in the development of unconventional reserves (shale), gathering and processing of natural gas, electricity generation and provision of comprehensive engineering solutions and supply of equipment for the hydrocarbon industry.
The closing of the transaction took place on January 5, 2020, after the and was subject to compliance with of such certain conditions precedent agreed between the parties.
