Argentina’s Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen has acted as deal counsel in Banco Comafi’s fifteenth issuance under a global trust securities programme worth US$300 million.
Banco Comafi S.A. acted as Trustor, Administrator, Co-Organizer, Co-Placement Agent, Custody Agent and Collection Agent; while TMF Trust Company (Argentina) S.A. acted as Trustee, Comafi Bursátil S.A. as Co-Placement Agent, Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A. as Co-Organizer and Co-Placement Agent, and Banco Supervielle S.A. as Co-Placement Agents in the transaction, which closed on June 2, 2021.
The trust programme, called “COMAFI MULTIACTIVOS”, consists of loans under leasing agreements originated by the Trustor, in pesos, arising from financing transactions on movable property. Banco Comafi issued the debt securities in three classes worth a total of US$10 million.
