On the day of our 32nd anniversary, we are announcing the opening of a Latin American Desk which will be led from Uruguay by our new partner Marina Basavilbaso.
This way, in PAGBAM we will be able to offer our clients a new office that will focus on providing comprehensive legal services for projects in Latin America. The synergy between this office and the existing ones in Argentina (Buenos Aires and Neuquén), Chile and New York allows PAGBAM to offer our clients the specialization of professionals in the most diverse areas of law and expand our regional reach.
Marina Basavilbaso is in an excellent position to lead the project due to the fact that, over the last few years as counselor of the Firm, she has focused her practice on international advisory and coordination of interdisciplinary and experienced teams for multinational clients.
Marina joined the Firm ten years ago, and developed her professional practice in the area of commercial law, focusing mainly on advising technology companies. She specializes in the negotiation and drafting of complex contracts, telecommunication infrastructure and real estate projects, internet liability issues, e-commerce, software licensing and digital content, among others. Furthermore, Marina is part of PAGBAM’s Aviation Law team, which advises on contractual, regulatory and litigation matters.
