Declaración del litio como recurso natural estratégico
 
El 17 de enero de 2023 se publicó en el Boletín Oficial de la Provincia de La Rioja la Ley Provincial N° 10.608 que declaró al litio y a sus derivados como recursos naturales estratégicos por sus contribuciones a la transición energética y aportes al desarrollo socioeconómico de la Provincia.

En consecuencia, la norma suspendió por el término de ciento veinte (120) días los permisos mineros de cateo, prospección, exploración y concesiones  en todo el territorio de la Provincia relacionados al litio.

Declaration of lithium as a strategic natural resource
 
On January 17, 2023, Provincial Law No. 10,608 was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of La Rioja, declaring lithium and its derivatives as strategic natural resources due to their contributions to the energy transition and the socio-economic development of the Province.

Consequently, the regulation suspended for a term of one hundred and twenty (120) days the permits for prospecting, exploration and mining concessions related to lithium in the whole territory of the Province.
