China Development Bank´s Third Amendment Agreement relating to Buyer Credit Facility Agreement for up to US$2,099,965,834, entered with the Argentine Republic for the Belgrano Cargas Railway recovery project

PAGBAM advised China Development Bank ("CDB") in connection with the Third Amendment  Agreement relating to Buyer Credit Facility Agreement for up to  US$2,099,965,834 entered into by such entity with the Argentine Republic and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited ("ICBC") on June 25, 2012 as amended by the supplemental agreement to the credit agreement dated July 18, 2014, (the "Credit Agreement") for the purposes of extending the period of availability of funds under the Credit Agreement (the "Third Amendment").

The Third Amendment was signed on January 10, 2022 and will contribute to  continue the works under the Belgrano Cargas Railway rehabilitation project. 

China Development Bank is a development financial institution. Its shareholders include the Ministry of Finance and the National Social Security Council of that country. It is considered the world's largest development finance institution and China's largest foreign investment and financial cooperation bank, according to its website.
