Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen advised Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires S.A.U. and Banco Santander Argentina S.A. on the granting of a syndicated credit line to Pecom Servicios Energía S.A.U. (“PECOM”), a company focused on oil production, engineering projects, and providing comprehensive solutions for the Hydrocarbons, Electric Power, and Mining industries, with a presence in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Uruguay, for an amount of up to US$100,000,000 under Argentine law.
The funds obtained under the credit line will be used by PECOM for the payment of the purchase price of the hydrocarbon areas “Escalante - El Trébol” and “Campamento Central - Cañadón Perdido,” located in the Province of Chubut, acquired by PECOM within the framework of the Andes Project.
The transaction closed on 12 November 2024.
