The firm Perez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen (“PAGBAM”) congratulates Openbank, the digital bank of Grupo Santander, for obtaining its authorization from the Argentine Central Bank (the “BCRA”) to operate as a commercial bank.
The BCRA’s directory authorized Openbank to operate as a new entirely digital bank, under the name “Open Bank Argentina S.A.”
PAGBAM has collaborated with Openbank and its shareholders’ teams since the beginning of the process, giving advice in the constitution of Openbank, in matters related to the registration in Argentina of it shareholder Open Digital Services S.L. (“ODS”) and in related legal aspects.
Openbank legal team was led by Verónica Schilling, helped by Santiago Kaplan. Banco Santander Río legal team involved was led by Celeste Ibañez, helped by Federico Giovini and Jesica La Porta.
PAGBAM advised Openbank and its shareholders through a team led by it Partner Diego Serrano Redonnet and integrated, among others, by Associates Estefanía Paula Balduzzi, Danilo Parodi Logioco, Facundo Fernández Santos (in tax matters) and Fernanda Laura García.
