EGFA advised Toyota Compañía Financiera de Argentina (the “Company”) in the issuance of the Series No. 27 Notes (the “Notes”) under its $ 6,000,000,000 (or its equivalent in other currencies and/or units of value and/or measurement) Global Notes Program.
On February 28, 2020, the Notes were successfully issued for the maximum amount offered, that is an aggregate amount of $ 750,000,000, maturing on February 28, 2021, at a variable interest rate equivalent to the “BADLAR Privada” reference rate published by the Argentine Central Bank, plus 445bp and will be amortized in three payments, on August 28, 2020 (for the 25% of the capital), on November 28, 2020 (for the 25% of the capital) and on February 28, 2021 (for the remaining 50% of the capital). Likewise, the Notes will pay quarterly interest, on May 28, August 28, an November 28, 2020 and on February 28, 2021. The Company will use the proceeds for granting short-term loans to the Toyota dealer network in Argentina.
Toyota Compañía Financiera de Argentina is the financial company of Toyota Argentina S.A. whose purpose is to finance the acquisition of the vehicles sold by such company.
