La UIF digitaliza la registración de Sujetos Obligados
Por medio de la Resolución N°37/2026 (la “Resolución”), vigente desde el 14 de abril de 2026, la Unidad de Información Financiera (la “UIF”) modificó la Resolución UIF N° 50/2011, que estableció el Sistema de Reporte de Operaciones y la obligatoriedad de registro de los Sujetos Obligados y Oficiales de Cumplimiento (los “SO”).
Los cambios introducidos buscan la despapelización total y una fiscalización más ágil:
- Carga Digital Obligatoria: Todos los SO enumerados en el artículo 20 de la Ley N° 25.246 al momento de inscribirse ante la UIF deben adjuntar su documentación respaldatoria exclusivamente a través del sistema SRO+ en formato PDF.
- Plazo de Rectificación: La UIF validará la documentación y, en caso de detectar faltantes u errores, el SO tendrá un plazo improrrogable de 15 días hábiles administrativos para subsanarlos a través de la plataforma.
- Actualización Permanente: La Dirección de Supervisión de la UIF queda facultada para exigir en cualquier momento la actualización de la documentación y de los sistemas digitales de comunicación a los SO previamente registrados en el sistema SRO+.
- Sistemas Futuros: Se anticipa la implementación de nuevos canales de gestión y notificación digital que los SO deberán adoptar conforme lo disponga la Dirección de Tecnologías de la Información de la UIF.

UIF digitizes the registration of Regulated Entities
By means of Resolution No. 37/2026 (the “Resolution”), effective as of April 14, 2026, the Financial Information Unit (the “UIF”) amended UIF Resolution No. 50/2011, which established the Transaction Reporting System and the mandatory registration of Regulated Entities and Compliance Officers (the “RE”).
The changes introduced aim for a completely paperless process and more agile oversight:
- Mandatory Digital Filing: Upon registration with the UIF, all RE listed in Section 20 of Law No. 25,246 must attach their supporting documentation exclusively through the SRO+ system in PDF format.
- Rectification Period: The UIF will validate the documentation; in the event of missing information or errors, the RE will have a non-extendable term of 15 business days to rectify them through the platform.
- Permanent Update: The UIF’s Supervision Directorate is authorized to require, at any time, the update of documentation and digital communication systems from RE previously registered in the SRO+ system.
- Future Systems: The implementation of new digital management and notification channels is anticipated, which RE must adopt as determined by the UIF’s Information Technology Directorate.
