Labor Assistance Fund’s entry into force is postponed to December 1, 2026 and the waiting period is extended to 12 months

Se modifica el Régimen de Zona Fría e introducen reformas estructurales en el sector energético

La Ley N° 27.828 focaliza los subsidios de gas en usuarios con vulnerabilidad acreditada. Asimismo, reordena aspectos operativos críticos de la matriz energética: garantiza el traslado a tarifas de los costos de compra de gas y electricidad, habilita la compensación de deudas con CAMMESA a cambio de renunciar a reclamos tarifarios, extiende hasta 2045 las exenciones tributarias para renovables y deroga regímenes de promoción hidrocarburífera.

The Cold Zone Regime is amended and structural reforms are introduced to the energy sector

Law No. 27,828 targets gas subsidies to users with proven vulnerability and reorganizes critical operational aspects of the energy matrix: it guarantees the pass-through to tariffs of gas and electricity supply costs, enables the offsetting of debts with CAMMESA in exchange for waiving tariff claims, extends tax exemptions for renewables until 2045, and repeals hydrocarbon promotion regimes.

Se aprueba la Ley para la Reconstrucción Nacional y el Desarrollo Económico y Social introduciendo reformas tributarias

La Ley N° 21.850 establece un marco de incentivo a la inversión y alivio fiscal: disminuye gradualmente la tasa corporativa al 23%, reintegra por completo el sistema tributario hacia 2029, repone el tratamiento de ingreso no renta para las ganancias de capital bursátiles y crea un estatuto de invariabilidad tributaria para grandes proyectos junto con un régimen transitorio de repatriación y regularización de capitales.

Law on National Reconstruction and Economic and Social Development is enacted, introducing tax reforms

Law No. 21,850 establishes an investment incentive and tax relief framework: it progressively reduces the corporate income tax rate to 23%, fully reintegrates the corporate and personal tax systems by 2029, reinstates non-taxable income status for capital gains on publicly traded shares, and introduces a tax stability regime for large projects alongside a temporary voluntary disclosure mechanism for offshore assets.
