Medidas antidumping

Antidumping measures

Knitted or crocheted fabrics from China

On December 1, 2022, Resolution No.  117/2022 of the Secretary of Commerce was published in the Official Gazette. It initiated an investigation for alleged dumping in export operations to Argentina of knitted or crocheted fabrics of a width not exceeding 30 cm, containing by weight 5 percent or more of elastomeric yarn without rubber thread; and narrow woven fabrics, with one or both non-straight edges, of synthetic fibres, containing by weight 5% or more elastomeric yarn, without rubber thread,  classified under tariff codes MCN 6002.40.20 and 6307.90.90, from the People’s Republic of China.

The preliminary margin of dumping has been determined to be 678.72% for those operations coming from China. The abovementioned resolution also concluded that there is sufficient evidence to support the allegations of material injury to the domestic industry.

Interested parties who prove their status as such, may participate in the investigation.
