Se actualiza el valor de la Unidad Móvil de la Ley N° 27.442
El 25 de febrero de 2025 se publicó en el Boletín Oficial la Resolución N° 21/2025 por medio de la cual la Secretaría de Industria y Comercio actualizó el valor de la Unidad Móvil (“UM”) definida en el artículo 85 de la Ley N° 27.442 de Defensa de la Competencia (la “LDC”).
El valor de la UM, que se actualiza en forma anual utilizando el Índice de Precios al Consumidor que publica el Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos, será de $1102,28 a partir del 26 de febrero de 2025 (anteriormente era de $506,19).
A raíz de ello, se elevan automáticamente los umbrales de notificación de las operaciones de concentración económica y los montos de las multas dispuestos por la LDC, así como las multas por infracciones al régimen de Lealtad Comercial previsto en el DNU N° 274/2019.

The value of the Mobile Unit of the Law No. 27,442 is updated
On February 25, 2025, Resolution No. 21/2025 was published in the Official Gazette, by means of which the Secretariat of Industry and Trade updated the value of the Mobile Unit (“MU”) defined in Section 85 of Antitrust Law No. 27,442 (the “AL”).
The value of the MU, which is updated annually using the Consumer Price Index published by the Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos, will be AR$ 1102.28 as of February 26, 2024 (previously it was AR$ 506.19).
As a result, the thresholds for the notification of economic concentration transactions and the amounts of the fines provided by the AL as well as the fines that can be imposed for the infringement of the Fair Trade regime established by the Emergency Decree No. 274/2019 are automatically raised.
